This page (under construction) gives a recipe to find a curve, given its shape.
Follow the steps below.

1. For a curve consisting of straight lines, choose one of the following:

closed and simple line

open and simple line

closed and nonsimple line

open and nonsimple line


2. Identify whether the (bended) curve is made of different curves.
If that is the case, treat each subcurve as an individual curve.
